QUIAPO CHURCH FAMILY AND LIFE MINISTRY

 

The Vision of the Family and Life Ministry of Quiapo Church is to be a centre for family empowerment and life advocacy composed of competent family ministers, professionals, and active volunteers working united for the mission of the Church.

 

The Mission of the Family and Life Ministry of Quiapo Church is to help the families that recourse to its care through different programs and services that were designed to strengthen Christian families enabling them to be more faithful to God and fruitful to the community

FORMATION ORIENTED PROGRAMS

Couples Program

Is a relationship building program designed to deepen and strengthen the relationship of married couples.

Objective:  Couples program is composed of seminars/workshops that aims to make married couples witnesses of God’s faithful, fruitful, and lasting love in the form of fulfilling their responsibility in building a loving relationship to each other and their whole family.

Singles Program

Is a self-empowerment program designed to deepen ones spirituality and develop ones personhood, encouraging them to be a person for others.

Ø  Understanding Intimate Relationship Seminar

Ø  Youth Support Seminar

Archdiocesan Programs

Is a program designed to accommodate the programs and formations that are being implemented by the Archdiocese of Manila particularly the Commission on Family and Life. In this program are also seminar/workshop that are standard for all Family and Life Ministry in RCAM

Ø  Pre-Cana Seminar

Ø  Basic Value Formation

Ø  S.A.F.E Seminar

Ø  Basic Counseling Seminar

Ø  On-going Formation

Ø  Migrant Family Sunday

Marriage Preparation Seminar/ Pre Cana Every 4th weekend of the month (Sat & Sun)

Pro – Life Advocacy and other Advocacies

SERVICE ORIENTED PROGRAMS
Counseling Services

Objective:

  • To provide Initial analysis of the presented problem of the counselee
  • To look for a possible venue of giving pastoral care
  • To empower the counselee in order to have a positive outlook in life
  • Initiate referral or endorsement of the counselee to abled institutions or foundations

Schedule:  Monday – Sunday 10 AM – 3PM/ by appointment (45 – 60 minutes per session)

Natural Family Planning Promotion

Objective:

  • To promote NFP through one on one tutorial or group seminar to married couples
  • To provide guides and follow ups to interested NFP client

Schedule:  By appointment

 

Kasal – alalay Services

is a service oriented program designed to render assistance to couples who wishes to be married in Church but are facing some difficulties on the processing of requirements and fees

This program involves the ff assistance:

  • Encouraging cohabitating couples to receive the sacrament of Matrimony
  • Provide information regarding the process and requirements needed
  • Assist on some small matters regarding retrieving baptismal or confirmations certificates thru Parish to Parish transaction
  • Waive fees for the Church wedding instead has it on a donation basis
