On September 29, 2025, Reverend Father Ramon Jade L. Licuanan celebrated his 24th year of priesthood with a powerful homily emphasizing the phrase “you ain’t seen nothing yet,” reminding everyone that God still has more to offer us.
Fr. Jade shared three “L’s” that God revealed to him and left him amazed: lay vocation, letting go, and Licuanan—pertaining to family.
He first highlighted his appreciation for the lay people who served as his inspiration and motivation, sharing how he fulfilled his mission with their help.
He then shared the importance of letting go and how success in priesthood doesn’t come from being in control, but from the power of surrender. He also pointed out the phrase “Let go and let God,” which reminds us to always trust in Him.
“Give God the space to do His miracle. We don’t have to be certain and assured of every corner or every inch of our lives. We have to give space to God. We have to give room for Him to do
miracles. Letting go,” he stated.
Lastly, he reflected on family, pointing out that it is not just about being related by blood, but about being inclusive and embracing others as family.
“I realized ang panawagan sa atin ng Diyos in general is to be inclusive sa pamilya natin.
magmahal at maglingkod. At nang sa ganoon, magawa nating isama ang iba bilang ating pamilya na ating mamahalin at paglilingkuran,” he said.
Through these three L’s, we are reminded that no matter how far we’ve become, God has more miracles in store for us—that we have yet to see more of His work.
