INAY SALUD’S PILGRIMAGE TO QUIAPO CHURCH

On August 31, 2024, the National Pilgrim Image of Nuestra Señora de La Salud (“Inay Salud”) visited the Minor Basilica and National Shrine of Jesus Nazareno. Members of the Cofradia de Transito de Nuestra Señora de La Salud, Inc. conducted the[ir] activity, “Pagbisita” at Quiapo church to present to the faithful and devotees the devotion to Inay Salud.

History shows that the original venerated image of Inay Salud ws kept safe and preserved by the OAR Friars at the Museo de Recoletos after the shrine dedicated to her was destroyed during the World War II in 1945. At present, it is enshrined at San Nicolas de Tolentino Parish in Quezon City. Numerous testimonies of healing and, even, childbirth is associated with Inay Salud’s intercession, which made the devotion flourish all over the country, since its first reintroduction by the OAR Friars in 2016.
