HDN COMMUNITY SERVICE INITIATIVE REACHES HUNDREDS OF AETA FAMILIES IN PAMPANGA

Jul. 06, 2026 03:54 PM

On June 27, 2026, at 9:00 AM, the HDN Affairs Office, led by Mark Joseph Verdadero, together with the Balangay Committee headed by Juanito Tan Jr. and the Balangay Chairmen, conducted a meaningful outreach program for the Aeta community in Sitio Camachille, San Ramon, Floridablanca, Pampanga. The outreach activity was carried out under the Basilica Menor at Pambansang Dambana ni Jesus Nazareno (Quiapo Church) as part of its mission to serve communities in need and strengthen faith through acts of charity.

The activity was organized to extend assistance to the Aeta community, who have a deep and unwavering faith in Jesus Nazareno. Through this outreach, the volunteers sought not only to provide essential support but also to honor and strengthen the community’s spirit of faith, compassion, and hope. By sharing food, educational materials, and other necessities, the activity reflected a commitment to serving others with love and solidarity.

During the event, the volunteers conducted a food feeding program and organized games for the children. They also distributed school supplies, bags, slippers, shoes, and relief goods to help support the educational and daily needs of the community.

A total of 380 families and 350 children benefits from the outreach program. The smiles and gratitude of the beneficiaries served as a reminder of the positive impact that collective efforts can make in improving the lives of those in need.

The success of the activity was made possible through the dedication of the HDN Affairs Office, the Balangay Committee, and all the volunteers who generously shared their time and resources to serve the Aeta community.
