ANG PAGDALAW NG ANAK SA INA: A HOME COMING OF GRACE AND LOVE

Dec. 05, 2025 05:29 PM

November has been one of the most awaited months for the Antipoleños, particularly for the devotees of Nuestro Padre Jesus Nazareno and Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage. The Antipolo Cathedral, together with the pilgrims, eagerly anticipates and prepares for the yearly “Ang Pagdalaw ng Anak sa Ina” to witness the Child’s visit to the mother.

On November 28, 2025, at exactly 4:30 in the morning, the image of Jesus Nazareno was escorted by the balangays, ardent followers, and parishioners to the Antipolo Cathedral through a motorcade under the supervision of Hijos De Nazareno NPJN.

A welcoming mass was held at 7:00 in the morning, presided over by Rev. Fr. Keith Buenaventura, Parochial Vicar of Antipolo Cathedral. The image of Jesus Nazareno will remain in the Cathedral until December 1, 2025. There will be a farewell mass at 6:00 in the morning, which will be followed by a procession within the vicinity.

This pilgrimage is a meaningful tradition of faith and a reminder that Jesus Nazareno is just like us—a disciple who travels through our daily lives with his beloved mother. It serves as a testament of a steadfast love between a mother and child. For the millions of devotees and pilgrims, it is a demonstration of their undying devotion and faith. For all of us, it is a blessing, hope, and giving life to our prayers.
