CATHOLIC WOMEN’S LEAGUE

The objectives of the CWL in the furtherance of the purposes are as follows:

  1. To promote self-sanctification of each members and that of others;
  2. To unite catholic women in a National and International organization for the promotion of the spiritual, moral, educational, and socio-economic welfare of the country;
  3. To provide a medium through which Catholic Women may uphold the faith and act unitedly in matters affecting the church, the laity, the home, and the community;
  4. To foster ecumenical relations with other women’s organizations on local, regional and international level;
  5. To participate in evangelization, and Christian renewal of society as approved by the church; and
  6. To coordinate and collaborate with the government and non-government agencies in the promotion of a total integral human development.

  • Parish recollection
  • Pahalik
  • Praying the Holy Rosary
  • Formation
  • Family and life enrichment
  • Feeding of Street children

Archdiocese of Manila

  • Leadership training
  • Environmental seminar
  • Seminar on disaster awareness and preparedness
  • Livelihood seminar
  • Visitation of elders at the Missionary of Charity
  • Mass at the Manila Cathedral (1st Saturday of the month)
  • Mass at the Shrine of the Sacred Heart (Feast day)
  • Annual celebration of CWL Loyalty Day (October 14)
